Petersburg Halloween Half Marathon & 5K

The Petersburg Halloween Half Marathon & 5K is the marriage of two time honored traditions... Halloween & Running! All participants are encouraged to run in cotume! While it's not mandatory it certainly make the event more fun.  Especially if groups of runners dress up in a themed costume.  We have seen groups dress up as Superheros; Villains; Funny costumes; Scary costumes, etc.  So, recruit your friends, family, and co-workers.  The event is a lot of fun when a group runs together in a themed costume.

Runners and Walkers of all abilities are welcomed! The Half Marathon course features a scenic tour of Petersburg, VA; starting and finishing in the Olde Town, historic section.  The 5K course feature a loop in the downtown area, with a 1 hour time limit.  This event is all about having a good time and just finishing :-) While we can't guarantee that you'll get a PR running in a costume; but we are williong to bet that you'll have a good time!
