Pink Tutu 3K

On Sunday, October 14, 2018, Halifax Health will have its 1st Annual Pink Tutu 3K run/walk. The race will be timed and offers an opportunity for both competitive and non-competitive runners, walkers, families and children to participate. This fabulously pink family 3K is full of Tutu’s and fun featuring a new course at Tanger Outlets, while supporting a great cause. Halifax Health in sponsorship with the Volusia/Flagler American Cancer Society (ACS) is hosting 100 cancer survivors to run/walk and celebrate the month of PINK-tober.  The kick off and packet pickup for the 3K is October 13th at the Tanger Outlets – Pink Style Party in partnership with Halifax Health. We’ll have packet pick up, live DJ, Yoga on the Lawn on the hour, family activities, Kinetic Dance performance, face painters and chance raffles and much more from 10-2 pm.

All turns and miles will be clearly marked with signs and/or volunteers. Water stations will be located at the start/finish area and at the 1/2 way point. The Tanger security will control traffic along the route and one lane will be closed for race participants. This race welcomes walkers and runners of all ages and fitness levels. After the race stick around for refreshments and a great shopping experience. The refreshments and awards ceremony will be held in the Center of the Outlet near the finish line near H & M. Food and drinks are free of charge for registered participants.

All funds raised will go toward the Halifax Health – Foundation Center for Oncology fund that is used toward new advanced technology or education for the Oncology Team Members who provide patient care and the American Cancer Society Making Strides against Breast Cancer.

What to Expect at the Event:

3K Run/Walk All registered participants receive a Pink Tutu 3K T-Shirt Tanger Pink Savings Card– Discount Card to use all of October giving you discounts in over 45 + Retail stores to gain 25% off any one item, per day, per participating store. Free Yoga warm-up by Andrea Beck of Kula Yoga Studios at the Starting Line 7 am Giveaways from Tanger retailers Post-race refreshments  12 yrs and under run free with a paid adult entry Pets allowed on leash.

Packet Pickup:  Will be available on Saturday, October 13, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Tanger Pink Style Party or on race day morning beginning at 7:00am at the start line near H & M.
