About the event
WHAT: The 5K course begins at the front gates of the faire grounds. Participants will make their way through the faire grounds as well as the grounds surrounding the faire. The 5K will finish at the pirate ship. The Fun Run/Treasure hunt will be a 1-mile course throughout the faire grounds.
RESULTS: Course is measured and marked at miles 1, 2, and 3. Finish line and timing services provided by US Road Running.
SWAG BAG: 5K Swag Bag- 1 free beer (ID verified), 1 free turkey leg, runner’s medal, t-shirt (register before October 1), entry into the treasure hunt. Treasure Hunt Swag Bag- 1 free beet, 1 free turkey leg, participation medal, t-shirt (register before October 1). Child Swag Bag- juice, turkey leg, participation medal.
PRIZES: Trophy to the top male and top female in 5K. Costume contest- $250 gift certificate to top male and top female. Treasure Hunt prizes- $1697 cash, a bike valued at $1,400, $50 Amazon gift card, a 2020 Renaissance Faire season pass, a $25 Sheetz gift card, and a $100 Whole Foods gift card.
