Polar Rig Run

The Polar Rig Run is a fundraising event sponsored by the PTXC Booster Club to benefit the Track & Field and Cross Country teams of Pearland High School in Pearland, Texas.  Funds raised during this event provide support to these teams to supply necessary equipment, including track spikes, blocks, etc.

The Polar Rig Run will consist of three (3) fun run events including:  Frosty 5K, Winter 1K, and the Frigid 400M.  The Frosty 5K and Winter 1K events are open to all ages; however, the Frigid 400M will be limited to ages 2 - 10.  Although the events are untimed, the top male and female to cross the finish line for each event will receive prizes.  Costumes are encouraged for the event, and awards will be given for the most creative ensembles.
