Polk County Back to School Dash

Calling all runners, walkers, and anyone interested in helping the community! The Polk County Family & Community Outreach Department is partnering with Dallas United Methodist Church and the community to bring you the Polk County Back to School Dash on Saturday, August 4th. The Back to School Dash is a 5K run/walk event that will support local backpack and school supply give-away events such as Dallas Family Night Out. 

The race will start at 9 am at Dallas United Methodist Church and follow the Rickreall Creek Trail System before ending up back at the church. The entire route is pet, stroller, wheelchair and kid friendly! Local food and drink vendors will be on site at the Dallas United Methodist Church parking lot during and after the race. 

Early registration is open until July 14th! Early registration includes a t-shirt and is priced at just $30 for adults 18 and older, $20 for students age 6-17, and free for kids 5 and under.  If you decide to register after July 14th registration is $35 for all ages without the guarantee of a t-shirt.
