Pretzel Run

Join us on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 6:30 pm for the 1st annual Pretzel Run hosted by St. Robert School. Proceeds raised from this event will support St. Robert School while promoting health and wellness in children and adults. The event will also promote a strong sense of community!  The run will take place on the scenic Oak Leaf Trail in Estabrook Park and concludes with a family social at the Estabrook Beer Garden and playground area. We welcome all runners and walkers to join in either the 5K run, the 1.5 mile fun run/walk or the 100 meter Kid’s Pretzel Dash for children 8 and under.

Event Schedule:

5:00 - 6:15pm: Race day registration and packet pickup

6:30pm: 5K run & 1.5 mile fun run/walk

7:30pm: Kid’s Pretzel Dash

7:45pm: Awards

Course:

The 5K run will be chip timed course on the Oak Leaf Trail. The 5K and the 1.5 mile fun run/walk will start south of the Estabrook pond on the Oak Leaf Trail and finish at the Estabrook Beer Garden. The Kid’s Pretzel Dash will start behind the baseball diamond and end at the finish line of the 5K run and 1.5 mile fun run/walk.

*Please note: T-Shirts are not guaranteed to be available for pickup for those registering after August 14th. They will be available for pickup at a later date.

Online registration will close at midnight on August 24rd. Race registration will be available at packet pickup on August 24th at Performance Running Outfitters 4533 N Oakland Ave - Shorewood, WI 53211.  You may still register at the event on August 25th from 5:00 - 6:15. Cash or credit registration only at packet pickup and on race day. 

Awards

Medals will be awarded to 5K participants in first, second and third place finishers, both male and female, for 12 and under, 13 - 16, 17-19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+

Parking 

Free parking is available in the Estabrook parking lots and on the street. There is a large free parking lot near the finish line by the Beer Garden and a small free parking lot near the start line. 

Packet Pickup:

August 24th at Performance Running Outfitters 4533 N Oakland Ave Shorewood, WI 53211.

Packet pickup will be available at the race on Thursday, August 25 from 5:00-6:15 pm 

Post Race Celebration:

After the run, the celebration continues with music, awards and excellent food/drink available for purchase at the Estabrook Beer Garden!
