Project Lifesaver "Mustache To Save A Life"

James City County Police Department Project Lifesaver "Mustache To Save A Life" 5K/8K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run   This is James City County Police Department's Inaugural "Mustache To Save A Life" 8K & 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run.   Have fun while helping to raise money and awareness for Project Life Saver. Project Lifesaver is a program for citizens with dementia, autism, Alzheimer's or other traumatic brain injury that may cause the person to wander and not be able to find their way back home. A bracelet with a radio frequency is placed on the person that assists first responders in locating the person should they wander away.   Saturday, May 21, 2016 @ Ford's Colony   Location: Ford's Colony, Williamsburg   Registration & Parking: DJ Montague Elementary School 5380 Centerville Road Williamsburg, VA.  23188   Time: 1 Mile Fun Run     7:30 a.m. 8K Run                  8:00 a.m. 5K Run                  8:10 a.m.  Awards                 9:30 a.m. Course: Located on a scenic course in Ford's Colony with rolling hills and paved roads. Your registration fee includes a race t-shirt as long as you register by May 7th. Additional t-shirts are available for purchasing when you register.
