Public Service 5K Run/Walk

Now in its sixth year, the Public Service Charity 5K Run/Walk celebrates and supports federal public servants across the country, giving public employees a visible reminder they are valued, and offering friends, family, and the broader community the opportunity to come together to thank them.

Hundreds of runners and walkers in the D.C. Metro area participate in the flagship event and hundreds more join in across the country by registering as a virtual participant. Virtual/remote participants run or walk in the home community or city, often with a group of friends or other Public Service Charity 5K supporters, in area parks or trails. Virtual/remote participants receive a T-shirt in the mail.

Participants register as an individual runner/walker or virtual/remote runner/walker. Children 5 & under are free.

Early bird pricing is as follows:
- Individuals - $20
- Virtual/Remote - $20

After April 1, 2018, the prices will increase to:
- Individual - $30
- Virtual/Remote - $25

Participants in the Public Service Charity 5K support FEEA’s work providing emergency loans, disaster relief grants, and scholarships to our dedicated civilian federal and postal public servants and their families. Here are two ways you can help us:

Help Us Increase Registrations: Encourage your friends, family members, and colleagues to register for the Public Service 5K. Sign up at www.feea.org/5k to get a personal volunteer crew $5 discount code for your friends and family. They will get a discount and you will have a chance at winning a great prize based on the number of participants who register with your personal discount code.

Help Us Raise More donations: During registration our system will automatically make you a personal 5K fundraising page for collecting donations from friends and family online. You can easily customize your page and then share it via email, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. We also offer a check donation option. Raise a lot of donations and you could win one of our great prizes.
