 Special Olympics Forsyth County offers year-round sports and wellness opportunities to over 1,000 local athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Special Olympics provides opportunities for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities  to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Join us for the second Special Olympics Forsyth County 5k, and 1 Mile Fun Walk & Roll at the Muddy Creek Green way at Jamison in Winston-Salem. This year’s race location has moved to the Muddy Creek Green way! The 5k course will be featured on the pristine green way that runs throughout the scenic park. The 1 Mile Fun Walk & Roll will be featured on the accessible part of the park’s green way allowing participants with all abilities to participate!
