R.A.C.E for the North 5K

(Running to Assist Communities in Education)

The race is a charity run/walk fundraiser designed to support students, teachers, and families of the North Learning Community. The event will be hosted by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools,  Lake Norman EDC, Lake Norman Chamber and the Lake Norman Education Collaborative.  The event includes a Kid’s Fun Run and a 5K.  Adult participants will receive a performance t-shirt while supplies last. Students are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing their school gear. The race will be officially timed and prizes will be awarded for top finishers in each category, the best male and female, and all registered participants 12 and under.

Race Registration

$20 + $2.00 (chip fee) Adults

$10 + $2.00 (chip fee) CMS Teachers and Staff

$5 + $2.00 (chip fee) Students

Free: under 5

Last day to register:  Thursday, April 10th (to receive adult t-shirts only)

All registrations after April 10th (adult t-shirts only while supplies last): $25 + $2.00 (chip fee)
