The CHASE 4 GOLD!

On August 8, 2018 Chase was diagnosed with stage 3 non-hodgkins lymphoma at the young age of 10 years old. Chase fought through nearly six grueling months of treatment.  During Chase's fight their friends, family and community came together to raise money for Chase with a 5K called "The Race for Chase".  The love and support that Chase's family received during that difficult time fueled their battle, and helped ease some financial burdens so they could prioritize what was most important -  staying focused on Chase and his fight.

We are beyond happy to say that Chase is now in remission!  As they were going through their cancer journey, Chase and his family decided that once he was through to the other side, they wanted to find a way to give back for all the love and support that they received during their most difficult time.  

With that, we are so excited to announce that The Race For Chase has been re-named to The Chase 4 Gold! 

The Chase 4 Gold 5K will now become an annual event, with proceeds going towards Childhood Cancer Research at Children's Hospital Colorado.  The Chase 4 Gold will also provide resources and support to other fighter-families who are not only fighting Childhood Cancer, but also the financial strain that this terrible disease has placed on them.  The impact of family, friends, community, and complete strangers with compassionate hearts cannot be underestimated, and means the world to these young fighters and their families.  So each year, The Chase 4 Gold plans to highlight a young fighter - To allow their community of friends, family, and all who care about the impact of Childhood Cancer - to rally around them and show them the same LOVE and SUPPORT that Chase's family had experienced in 2018 with our original "Race For Chase" event!  

The young fighter that we are highlighting for our 2019 Chase 4 Gold 5k is Toby G!  ~  At just 12 years old, Toby has battled ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) for most of his childhood.  Sadly, Toby is now facing his third fight.  

Come join Chase, Toby's family, and so many other caring participants in our community, and participate in the Chase 4 Gold 5K to help to support Toby, and so many other Childhood Cancer fighters!
