Second Chance is the oldest no-kill rescue in Wake County. Since we began in 1987, we have rescued over 12,000 cats and dogs, including sending 482 animals to their forever homes in 2016. Our mission is to champion homeless and abandoned healthy and treatable cats and dogs in their quest to find their forever homes.
