The Race: Come out for the Red Moon Trail Run at Deerfield Nature Park in Mount Pleasant as runners embark on a 5k, 15k or 25k race along wide trails (not single track) through the woods – over and along the Chippewa River. Runners completing multiple laps will run through a chute located directly inside a 3200 square foot event tent. Finish early or spectating? Feel free to bring and enjoy an adult beverage while cheering on those crushing the warm night run as they run past you through the tent.
The Red Moon Trail Run will take place at Deerfield Nature Park – a 591-acre venue with 8 miles of scenic trails in Mount Pleasant. The trail will be marked with small LED lights for easy trail navigation. The race is composed of a 5k trail course with runners able to choose a 1, 3, or 5 lap option. If you are opting for multiple laps, you’ll enjoy cheer from those in the tent as you run directly through the tent. Who knows, you may choose to have a “refreshment” on your way through!
