John’s Run/Walk Shop and Lexington’s Division of Environmental Services present the Branching Out 5k. Run a race, plant a tree!
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Reforest of Bluegrass, Lexington is coordinating a series of 20 smaller tree plantings around Lexington. Not only will this Branching Out 5k be one of the 20 planting sites, but race proceeds will help raise money to purchase trees for Reforest the Bluegrass! With your help we hope to plant over 500 trees after the race and thousands more during Reforest the Bluegrass on April 13th.
