Renfro Rock N Run Half Marathon and 5K

Get ready for the 7th Annual Renfro Rock N Run Half Marathon, 5-Miler and 5K, and Relay, one of Kentucky’s most unique and fun races! Renfro Valley, Kentucky, home of the world-famous entertainment center and the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, is known for its music, from Bluegrass to classic country to rock. Rockcastle County is home to a rock-solid, enthusiastic bunch who has taken to running and dare you to keep up. On October 19, 2019 they want to share the road, and their countryside, with you. You’ll dash past rustic cabins, trot alongside a beautiful lake for five full miles, and pass through some of Kentucky’s prettiest farmscapes. You’ll be rewarded for your journey at our unique finish area, where you’ll emerge from an under-road tunnel to lively music and a crowd of cheering by-standers in the heart of the Renfro Village.

HALF MARATHON

Half marathon participants will receive a commemorative dry fit long-sleeve race shirt and all finishers will receive a finishers medal. Chip timing is provided by 3 Way Racing. Awards include overall & age group awards.

NEW for 2019: 2-Person Relay - Female, male, and co-ed categories.The first leg of relay is the more challenging at 7.6 miles with a couple of small climbs. It brings you back to the starting line/staging area at the entertainment center, where you will hand off to your partner, who will finish the race with a flat 5.5 run along the prettiest part of the valley, Hummel Road. Both participants receive a dry fit long-sleeve race shirt and a finishers medal. First, second and third place overall awards in each category. (Participants must register separately).

5-MILER AND 5K

Both 5-Miler and 5K participants receive a dry fit short sleeve shirt. Chip timing is provided by 3 Way Racing. Awards include overall & age group awards.
