Renfro Rock N Run Half Marathon and 5K

Get ready for the 8th Annual Renfro Rock N Run Half Marathon, 5K, and 2-Person Relay, one of Kentucky’s most unique and fun races!

Renfro Valley, Kentucky, home of the world-famous entertainment center and the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, is known for its music, from Bluegrass to classic country to rock. Rockcastle County is home to a rock-solid, enthusiastic bunch who has taken to running and dare you to keep up. On Nov. 7, 2020 they want to share the road, and their countryside, with you.

You’ll dash past rustic cabins, trot alongside a beautiful lake, and pass through some of Kentucky’s prettiest farmscapes. So, come on, y’all. Let’s Rock N Run!

Part of the 2020 Rockcastle Regional Countywide Stride run/walk series, and winner of the Jackson Healthcare Hospital Charitable Services Program of Excellence Award.

HALF MARATHON

Half marathon participants will receive a commemorative dry fit long-sleeve race shirt and all finishers will receive a finishers medal. Awards include overall & age group awards.

2-PERSON RELAY

Female, male, and co-ed categories.The first leg of relay is the more challenging at 7.6 miles with a couple of small climbs. It brings you back to the starting line/staging area at the entertainment center, where you will hand off to your partner, who will finish the race with a flat 5.5 run along the prettiest part of the valley, Hummel Road. Both participants receive a dry fit long-sleeve race shirt and a finishers medal. First, second and third place overall awards in each category. (Participants must register separately).

5K RUN/WALK

5K participants receive a dry fit short sleeve shirt. Awards include overall & age group awards.
