About the event
The 1st Annual Rescue Run 5k is a combined effort of BearWaters Brewing, and The Milltown Milers Run Club. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Haywood County Rescue Squad. The 5k run/walk will be followed by a kids fun run. The 5k will have a separate "Ruckers" division for our military personnel of the past and present. Each runner will receive a commemorative pint glass and 1 free beer. There will be post race food/snacks on site provided by the Pigeon River Grille, Food Lion of Canton, and ofcourse the many delicious beers at Bearwaters Brewing.
