Revel Run

Brought to you by Sportspectrum, & The Revel Special Thanks to:  Sportspectrum Race Management, Ozarka Water, & Woody’s Music Madness Course Description: Everything starts and finishes at Festival Plaza, just North of Sci Port on the Clyde fant Parkway. Course is Fast & Flat out & back ! Date & Starting Time:  Saturday Morning, October 7th, 2017. 15K Road Race 7:30 a.m. 5K Road Race & 5K Healthwalk 8:00 a.m. Post Party:  FREE entry into the Revel with your race number. Gate pass is good all day long. October 7th.  Gates open at 11:00 a.m. Stick around after the race for the Revel Run Post Party and listen to some great live entertainment!! Registration & Packet Pick-up:  You may register early by mailing your entry form w/check to Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105 or you can stop by the store and pay with cash, check or credit card. You can also register online @ www.sportspectrumusa.com.   Entry Fee:  All races $20 thru Sept. 16th, $25 Sept. 17th thru Oct. 4th, $30 Oct. 5th & 6th and $35 on race day. Race Packet:  Race Packet will be available Thursday, Oct. 5th from 12pm—7pm, Friday, Oct. 6th from 10am—5:30pm, at Sportspectrum.  Race morning starting at 6:30 a.m. until 15 minutes prior to each race.
Every pre-registered participant will receive an Official 2017 Revel Run T-shirt.  Shirts will be limited, so please register early.  All packets not picked up by the race start will be forfeited. No packets mailed or held.

 

This is a chip timed race. Be sure that you get your timing chip race morning at the packet pick up table. You are responsible for attaching your timing chip to your shoe and returning it after the race. No chip, No time, No award!!
  Awards:  Overall, male & female winners for 5K & 15K Road Race awards TBD.  Overall male & female runners up will receive a $50.00 gift certificate from Sportspectrum. 1st and 2nd place age group winner will receive trophies. Age Divisions:  Male & Female 5K (2 deep) 11 under, 12-16, 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+  Male & Female 15K  Awards will be determined by the number of runners.

Special Note:  Under RRCA regulations; absolutely no baby joggers, strollers, bikes, inline rollerskates, or skateboards will be allowed. No dogs allowed on the run course. 15k Course will close at 10:00 a.m. All runners will be pulled from course at this point.
