Rez Loop Challenge

June 08, 2019

How many times can you run the 11 mile reservoir loop in 12 hours? Find out at the inaugural RunStrong Rez Loop Challenge.

Each loop will start and finish at the RunStrong Training Center. The course will be lightly marked and there will be no on-course support. There will be plenty of refreshments, food, and air conditioning at RunStrong for participants to recover and rehydrate between loops. Participants are welcome to drop a bag or cooler along the course prior to the event.

Registrants will receive a race t-shirt and some finisher’s swag for completing at least one loop. There will be tons of race day food and drink at RunStrong in between loops. There will be pancakes in the morning, sandwiches throughout the day, pizza at lunch and in the afternoon, icy cold Gu hydration and water, and a bunch of snacks for runners. Not to mention beer on tap if you are so inclined. There will also be hot coffee available throughout the day.

All participants will be required to have a handheld water bottle or hydration vest/pack at the start of each loop

Summer in Mississippi is extremely hot, and each participant will be responsible for their own well-being. Each participant must carry a phone or be with someone who has a phone at all times. If anybody cannot finish the loop, a number will be provided to call and request transportation back to RunStrong

Event clock will start at 6 am and only loops completed by 6 pm will count towards results.

Registrants will be limited to 30 total

It’s going to be hot. Let’s see what you’ve got.
