River Art Works Run (5K/10K)

Come out for the 1st Annual River Art Works Race! This scenic 5K and 10K race will take place on the Greater Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail in Smithton. Following the race, enjoy the FABULOUS 70's POP ARTS FESTIVAL.  Parking, race day registration, and packet pickup will begin at 7:30 AM. Handmade medallions will be given to overall men and women winners, senior awards winners (55+) and kids award winners (10 and under).  

Consider adding a VIP interactive arts experience! Relive the Fabulous POP ART ERA at this Smithton, PA Festival hosted by River Art Works. Join the fun of bending your own spoon ring, tie-dying a shirt, painting the hippie car, join the making of murals, beads, macramé, crepe paper flower making, and more! Great music, too! Entrance is Free as are many of the interactive events! In conjunction with Smithton's Community Day... local food favorites served up by locals.

Condition of the EVENT:
1.      An application is a commitment to show at afore mentioned festival at stated times/date(s).  Attendees commit to be present as indicated above. No shows and cancellations are to be considered donation to River  Art Works
2.     All runners, attendees agree to be thoughtful and considerate of other participants.  Runners in breach of this etiquette rule will not be timed, therefore not eligible for prizes.
3.     River Art Works preauthorized brochures, event tickets, raffle tickets, memberships, donations, order forms, and other promotional items must be agreed prior to setup.  No 2ndparty representation may take place unless preauthorized by River Art Works.
4.     70s themed garb is encouraged.  All apparel must be suitable for a family friendly event.
5.     All signage must be in good taste.  No vulgarity, negativity.  Must be in the good spirit of the festival.
6.   ** VIP Tickets include: all interactive arts with the exception of choice between ring making or Tye-dye T-Shirt making.
