WHERE: Fleming Park, Rogue River, Oregon MAP
WHEN: Saturday, February 8TH, 2020 – Half Marathon 10am | 5k 1030am
COURSE DETAILS: Time limit for the half marathon is 3 hours.From the the common start/finish area in front of Fleming park runners head east on the south side of the river on Rogue River Hwy for about 5.8 miles. Runners then turn left on Lampman Rd for a short out-and-back to give the exact 13.1 mile distance. Runners then get back on Rogue River Hwy which crosses to the north side of the river via Rock Point Bridge. After the bridge runners turn left back the direction they came on River Rd. At about 9.1 miles, you will turn left on Twin Bridges Rd. and enter Valley of the Rogue Park and the Rogue River Greenway bikepath before crossing the river again via the Depot St. bridge and finishing where you started. Aid stations with water and Gatorade will be at miles 2.8, 7.5 and 9.5. Roads will be open to traffic so runners should stay on the left shoulder and follow the rules of the road. There are will be several porta-potties along the course as well as public bathrooms along the bike path.
RACE FEES: Half Marathon – $35 for early registration for non-club members | $30 early registration for SOR member | 5k – $20 for early registration for non-club members | $15 early registration for SOR member |Free for youth 18 and under made possible by Jackson County Physical Therapy and SOR RunFree Youth Program.
LATE and Day of registrations will be $45 non-Members $40 for SOR Members- Half | $25 – 5k for ALL runners, except 17 and under.

AWARDS: $100 to the top male and female finisher in the half marathon, $50 to the top Masters finishers; ribbons for top-3 in each age group in both races. Medals for half-marathon finishers.
RACE DAY INFO: Packet Pick-Up – Race day morning 830-930 am (5k until 10 am)
RESTRICTIONS: Absolutely no rollerskaters, bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, dogs, headphones, or unregistered participants
