Round The Mound: 5K Health Run

Established in 1890, Historic Orange Mound is the oldest African American community in the City of Memphis.  After a 127 year wait, Orange Mound hosted its FIRST 5k in 2017.  JUICE Orange Mound is excited to host the 4th annual "Round The Mound" 5K and want YOU to join us. 

Did you know that the 5K falls on Halloween in 2020!  This made our theme selection process relatively easy as we are pumped to host a COSTUME RUN.  That's right, you can experience your first 5K or next 5K in your favorite costume gear.  Just imagine the faces of our residents as President Obama, Frankenstein, and Sponge Bob pass by their home.  We invite all friends and folks of Orange Mound out for this special event. 

As the rain made the 3rd Annual Round The Mound extra special, let's see what Mother Nature is thinking closer to the date.  More details, including the t-shirt design and route and exciting updates will be revealed every step of the way.  

Most notably, this event serves as the annual fundraiser for our 501c3 organization so even if you can't participate, DONATE!  We promise it will help us create a great experience for current residents in Historic Orange Mound.  #bettertogether #onevisionmanyvoices #OrangeMoundstrong #RTM2020
