The 11th annual Rousay Lap Half Marathon will be taking place on Saturday 31 August 2019 starting at 12 noon. This is a free family fun half marathon and participants can run, cycle or walk from the Pier to the main circular road and around the beautiful island of Rousay.
This years’ Lap is once again funded by the Rousay, Egilsay & Wyre Development Trust and is open to all ages but under 16s must have their parent or guardian sign the entrance form and under 12s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. All finishers will be issued with a certificate. This year the REW Development Trust will be collecting for the RNLI both at the registration and finish line, all donations are very welcome.
