Roy's Kids 5k

A charitable organization for the Shreveport/Bossier area. 501c status is in process. Our primary goal is to help hard working single parents with limited income to be able to give their children the things that’s hard for them to provide. To help assist the needs of their children with gifts at Christmas as well as throughout the rest of the year. No Act of Kindness, however small, is ever Wasted!

Date & Starting Time: Saturday, February 13, 2016 the race will begin at 8:00am.

Registration: Early Registration is $20 through Friday, January 1st, 2016. $25.00 January 2nd – February, 11. Online Registration closes at 7:00 a.m. Feb. 11.

REGISTER EARLY! No shirts guaranteed to late registrants.

T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: Every pre-registered participant will receive an original “Roy’s Kids 5k” t-shirt. Packet pick up will be held at Sportspectrum, Thursday, February 11th from 12 pm- 6:30 pm and Friday, February 12th from 10 am-5:30 pm. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00am.

Awards: Great Prizes for Overall Male & Female finishers. Additionally, 1st & 2nd Place in each of the age groups will receive an award.

Age Groups: 11-under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Post Party: Stick around after the race and enjoy music and great food.

Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
