About the event
The race is a two day (mostly) trail run in a stage format. Racers with run about 44 kilometers (26 miles) on the first day and about 25 kilometers (15 miles) on the second day. The terrain is mostly trails (75%) and a bit of country roads (25%). There are a few significant climbs (to get up and out of the gorge), but mostly, the course is rolling trails that contour along the gorge.
