Run for Gold 5K

Join us on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Bluemont Park, Arlington, VA for the inaugural Run for Gold 5K (Fun Run/Walk), presented by Fil-Am Racing and Philippine-American Foundation for Charities.

The Run for Gold 5K will also be held to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Bataan Death March and to honor the Filipino and American service members who sacrificed their lives during this tragic moment in Filipino-American history.

Registration Reminders
- Online Registration closes at 5:00 PM on October 20, 2017.
- You may register in-person on Race Day, October 21, 2017 from 7:00-8:00 AM.
- All registered participants will receive finishing medals and a souvenir race shirt.

If you wish to check a bag, please allow additional time for bag check and security.

T-Shirts, Medals and Awards
- All race registrants will receive running tech shirts 
- Medals will be provided for all finishers 
- Awards will be available to the following:
  -Top Three Male and Female (trophies)
  -Top Three Military Male and Female (trophies)
  -First place in each 10-year age group (merchandise)

This event is produced by the Philippine-American Foundation for Charities and Fil-Am Racing. Proceeds from our event will partially benefit Filipino-American Veterans who served in World War II. 2017 marks a major milestone in Filipino-American history in that April 9, 2017 will be the 75th Anniversary of the Bataan Death March. President Barack Obama signed the bill awarding Filipino soldiers who served in World War II the Congressional Gold Medal.
