Run For Nature 5k Run/Walk

The "Run for Nature" is a family-orientated 5K Run/Walk event that includes a free Little Sprout Sprint for children 10 years of age and under. This fundraiser will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Troy Farm located at South Blvd. and Beach Road located at the back of the Stage Nature Center. We are expecting 200 runners and family members to attend this event. Proceeds raised from the event will help underwrite the educational nature programs and operations of the Stage Nature Center (SNC). Additionally, the event will help raise community awareness for a portion of the preserve that residents may not be aware of, the Troy Farm. Our plan is to have the trail that is created for this race become a permanent running and walking trail for those desiring an alternative to running and walking on local streets.
