About the event
The Run for Shelter 5K is our 4th annual 3.11 mile timed race and fun walk. Each year, this event multiplies in size. The 2017 race is expected to be the largest and most attended 5K. The course will run through Southpointe Towne Center and will be timed by Smiley Miles.
All ages are welcome! The whole family can get involved in this fun event to help our community. Enjoy fun for the whole family, music, and food & drink. The overall top finishers, and the top male and female in every age group, will receive a medal!!
The proceeds from this event will benefit the homeless animals at the Washington Area Humane Society.
