Run! Fun! Run!

Depauville Free Library is holding its Second Annual Run! Fun! Run!, with a 5K and Family Fun Run, on Saturday, June 13, at the Clayton Recreation Park Arena’s Pavilion and Walking Trail.

The 5K Fun Run will start at 9am, the Family Fun Run at 10am, and awards will be presented at 11am, just in time for lunch.  There will be pulled pork sandwiches with cole slaw available for $7.

The 5K Fun Run is three times around the walking trail and pre-registration is $20 for adults, $25 on the day of the race. The fee for children 13 and under is $10. All runners will receive a dog safe flyer.

There is a $5 fee for families entering the Family Fun Run, a one mile race, or once around the walking trail.

Dogs are welcome to run with their owners in both races and, although the races will not be officially timed, the dogs judged fastest by our race staff will win awards along with the human runners.

Call the library at 686-3299 to register for either race, email us at deplib@ncls,org or sign up to run on Depauville Free Library's Facebook page. Reservations would help us better organize the event, but we’ll be glad to see you the morning of June 13 even if you decide at the last minute to run.
