Run into Summer 5k, Beer Mile, and Kids Races

Join us for a Run Into Summer, fun for all event.  Friends young and old will enjoy the festivities of the day.  The 5k will consist of 1 & 2/3 times around RVA Field on the perimeter path, which is a lightly graveled running trail and completely flat.  Ideal for seasoned runners and rookies, the entire course is visible to spectators and fans!

Kids will be excited to participate in the organized kids run which will be an age appropriate dash across the grass fields.
Those looking for a little more excitement will have your chance with the informal 21+ Beer mile.  Each competitor drinks four cans of beer and runs four 400 meter laps, mapped out on the RVA field (start - beer, then lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap - finish). 2. Beer must be consumed before the lap is begun, within the transition area which is the 10 meter zone before the start/finish line at the  400m mark.

The day's activities will all be accompanied by Food, Beverages and Music. All profits will be used to support the local Education Foundation initiatives, for more information please go to: www.btefnj.org
