Description: This event offers a walk/run course that will start on the RLC campus, run on round lake road (which will be closed), move on the RLC cross country course (which is sand, dirt and grass) and then finish back at the start. Be the first group to run on RLC new cross country course. The first 225 entries will receive a finishers medal.

Beneficiary: Proceeds will help benefit and support the RLC athletic department which aims to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for school aged sports.
June 6th- July 17th $25.00 (guaranteed a Tshirt and finisher medal)
July 18th- August 9th $30.00 (guaranteed a T-shirt and first 225 registered will receive a finishers medal)
August 10th – August 22nd $30.00 (T-shirt not guaranteed)
August 23th and Race Day registration $35.00 (T-shirt not guaranteed)

Same day packet pick up August 24th from 6:30am-7:45am

Shirts are guaranteed for all participants registered before August 9th. Shirts are not guaranteed for participants that register after August 10th. They are performance (dri-fit type) T-shirts this year.
Awards: Overall Top male and female awards
Age group awards: Top 2 in each age group (one male and one female)
13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Medals: The first 225 people to register will receive a finishers medal.
Timing/scoring: Event will be chip timed and scored with disposable chips attached to the back of each bib.
When and where does the race take place?
Saturday, August 24th at Round Lake Charter School
Race start time is promptly 8:00 a.m.
Where can I park?
You will be able to park on Round Lake Charter School campus and on the Real Life Church campus next to the RLC.
How long is the course?
The 5K is 3.1 miles.
How will I be timed?
The race uses an electronic timing system that records race time and place via each participant’s race number bib given out at race registration. Each individual competing in the 5K is required to wear their participant bib. Runners will be unable to participate without their individual bib. There will be a clock at the finish line to view your time.
When and where do I pick up my registration materials?
Packet pick-up will start at 3:30-5:00pm on Friday, August 23rd in front of the main office and on race day starting at 6:30am until 7:45am at RLC.
Can I use my own bib rather than utilizing the one that is provided?
No, a bib will be provided
Who gets a T-shirt?
Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment processes by August 9th will be guaranteed their free race t-shirt.
Can I participate in the event with my dog?
Sorry, as much as we love our pets too, the safety of participants is our main concern. Therefore, we do not allow pets on the course.
Can I participate with a stroller or Bike?
Strollers are permitted but no bikes, skateboards, etc.
What do I do with my personal items while I’m running?
Please leave them in your car.
Should I bring my own water?
Yes, but there will be a water station on the course and near the finish line.
I will be out of town on race day and not able to participate. Can I get my money returned?
We appreciate your race registration but we are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks.
Will the race be held if it’s raining?
The race is a “rain or shine” event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.
Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a NO TRANSFER and No REFUND policy.
