5K begins 8:00a.m.

Date and Time: The “Run The Hive 5K” sponsored by C.E. Byrd Softball will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018.  The race will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m.  

Registration:  Early registration is $20 from April 5th – June 15th. $25 from June 16th-July 6th and $30 from July 7th – race day.  Registration can be done online at www.sportspectrumusa.com or in person at Sportspectrum at 6970 Fern Avenue.. Only those registered by July 11th are guaranteed a t-shirt.

Race Description: The course takes you through the neighborhoods of South Highlands, beginning and ending at the C.E. Byrd gym on Gladstone. The 5K is open to students and adults.  Race participants will enjoy music and refreshments in the gym after the race.  All proceeds will go to the C.E. Byrd Softball Booster Club.

Registration Policy: Because this is a fundraising event to benefit the kids at C.E. Byrd High School, NO refunds will be available for any reason.

Awards: Overall male and female winners will receive an award. Additionally 1st male and female in the following age groups will receive an award. Age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

Packet Pick Up: Packet pick up will be at Sportspectrum on Thursday July 19th from noon – 6:00 p.m., and Friday July 20th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. You may also pick up your packet at the race site starting at 7:00 a.m. on race morning
