About the event
What? We are running on a runway! You heard right, this 5k course and 1 mile fun run will take place on the runway and taxiway at the McMinn County Airport. Airplanes will line the course as you see first hand just how big a runway is. Experience this rare opportunity on one of the flattest and fastest 5k courses in the area. This event will take place rain or shine.
After the race snacks and drinks will be provided for all participants in the aircraft hangar.
All proceeds will be used to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to families in McMinn County.
