About the event
Come to the country (Elizabeth, CO) and Run Wild with great people. There are two main objectives for this event: 1) Enjoy a quality 5K that is both fun and challenging, and 2) Raise money to help defray the equipment costs and camping expenses for a local Boy Scout group. The Scouts will be the support crew for your race.
The 5K races starts and ends near Legacy Academy on Legacy Trail Road. The course winds through the Wild Pointe development and has enough ups and downs and curves to make it interesting, but not so extreme as to make it a pain. Part of the course is out-and-back, so you can see the other racers and give high-5's as you pass by if you feel so inclined. The elevation ranges from 6,600' to 6,800'. The course is stroller friendly. Due to insurance issues, no pets on the course.
