Run With a Hero - Lake Mary

The Lake Mary Fire Department invites you to the first “Run with a Hero” 1 mile kids fun run. Our heroes include firefighters, police officers, emergency medical and military personnel.

Runners of all levels – beginners through advanced – are invited to participate and compete. This event is intended to be fun and provide a day of community spirit to be enjoyed with family and friends!   Parents are welcome to walk/run with their child too!

This year, the race benefits Hugz for Bugz, a local (central Florida) non-profit organization created to assist families and children coping with childhood cancer. “Bugz’ has provided assistance to over 300 families for medical bills, utility bills, gas/grocery cards, care packages, parties, toys, and most of all – HOPE AND A SMILE!

7:45 – Pre race-warm up
8:00 – 1st race ~ 5yr old – 8yr old
8:05 – 2nd race ~ 9yr old – 11yr old
8:10 – 3rd race ~ 12yr old – 15yr old
8:45 – 9:00 – announce 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners IN EACH AGE GROUP (to be escorted to DJ area by heroes)

**Immediately following the race will be the Lake Mary Fire Department Open House that all runners are invited to stay and enjoy!
Question - can the registration form have the age groups listed above as well as a place for Parent and another for Hero ( we would like the hero registration to include a drop down for type of hero, fill in space for agency name and space to enter promo code so they can register at no cost – if possible) ??

COST – (prices include t-shirt)
Early Registration – through October 20, 2017 - $20.00 per person
 
Late Registration – October 21, 2017 – November 3, 2017- $25.00 per person
