About the event
At Shelby County Schools (SCS) we believe in creating a positive culture and prioritizing the wellbeing of teachers and staff. Employees are offered opportunities to experience the comradery and encouragement that comes from participating in district wide events. We also strive to engage our community by building sustainable and impactful relationships that that are mutually beneficial.
On Saturday, August 7, 2021 we will be hosting the second annual Run with Ray 2.1k Run! This year we will be running on the river at Beal Street Landing.
Check in will begin at 7 a.m. Get on your mark...The run will begin at 8.a.m.
Attire: Have fun with it and make it your own. Feel free to wear your school or department t-shirt, but if you are feeling a little more adventurous, then put on a tutu and some butterfly wings, and just do your thing! We support YOU!!!
In addition, we will be hosting an interactive and educational Community Health Fair to provide basic screening to the community and SCS employee.
Stop by and visit with community organizations focused on ensuring we all learn the importance of taking care of our bodies, heathy eating and mental wellness.
Parking details will be shared with registrants prior to the day of event.
