The Whisper Run Walk for Ovarian Cancer Research.

10K Run & 5k Run/Walk takes place in beautiful Heckscher State Park, running on some roads and trails. The Race will raise Funds and Awareness for The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Categories

Top three Male & Female Overall 10k RACE ONLY (There are no awards or finisher medals for the 5k fun run/walk. The 5k Run/Walk is not a race, it is not timed. The 5k was added this year for those who want to come out and support Ovarian Cancer Research & Raise Awarness)

Top three Individual Age Groups in each category: 
7-13(Youth),14-18 (High School), 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

Every athlete at a Race Awesome Event is important, from the first finisher to the final finisher. We encourage all athletes to stay and enjoy the post-race food & beverages and to cheer in the final finisher. The awards ceremony will commence as soon as the final finisher crosses the line, and the raffle will take place at the end of the awards ceremony. You must be there to win.

If you can't stay for the awards CONTACT US. We will give you directions as to how you can send us a self-addressed, stamped envelope for 2 pounds, and your award will be shipped to you.

Race Day Parking is at field 8 in Heckscher State Park. PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST ENTER THE PARK BEFORE 8AM, OTHERWISE THE PARK WILL CHARGE ADMISSION FEE OF $10

Pricing Policy
The True Price

Our Policy:- We don't feel that the "service charge/convenience charge" is fair to any athlete. At Race Awesome the price you see is the price you pay, nothing more. This is our "True Price Guarantee".

Refund Policy

What We Offer:- There are No Refunds and entries are Not Transferable.
However, if you are injured, simply email us at [email protected] and explain your injury. We will then offer you the opportunity to come and work at the event you registered for. In return for working at the event, we will roll your entry over to the same race the following year at no charge. We don't require a doctor's note, honesty is just fine for us.

Every participant, official, volunteer and spectator should consider all safety issues and make related decisions prudently without reliance upon the Competitive Rules.

Safety

A Shared Responsibility:- No matter what inspired you to become an athlete, you’re responsible for showing up at the starting line fully prepared for the challenge ahead of you. Safety in the sport is not just the responsibility of the National Governing Body, sanctioned events and race directors, who are subject to the scrutiny of USATF sanctioning process and expected to uphold the best safety protocols. It's also the responsibility of the athlete.
