Running Water For Helena MT

Each year, the Lake Helena Watershed Group teams up with the City of Helena and local sponsors to host the annual Running Water for Helena 10 Mile/5K. Run or walk a 5K or run the 10 mile race to help promote awareness of and the protection and stewardship of the City of Helena’s drinking water supply, and support restoration projects within the Lake Helena watershed. The 10 mile race will take place on June 23rd, beginning at 7:00 AM and the 5K will start at 7:30 am.

We have a new route this year! Both races will start and stop at the Spring Meadow Resource Pavilion (see directions and address below), exploring Prickly Pear Land Trust's new Tenmile Creek Park and connecting to Spring Meadow Lake State Park as well as the Centennial Trail system.
