Running with a mission is a family friendly 5K race in support of local and global missions. The run will take place at the beach access of Fort Macon State Park and take runners along the ocean side and back through the sand dune beach trail. A 1-mile fun run will also be available. This year’s race will benefit the Costa Rica Mission Project.

All runners 17 and under race fee $15 (either race)

Walk up registrations will be available from 2:00-2:30 the day of the race.
All registrations received prior to March 6 include a T-shirt.
The top female and male finishers will be awarded for the following categories:
The 5K course will begin at the beach access of Fort Macon State Park. Runners will run east down the beach and will enter the Elliott Coues Nature Trail close to the Fort where they will run west along the sand dune trail and back to the beach access lot.
The 1-mile fun run will also begin in the beach access lot, and will be an out and back course along the beach.
