Runway 5K Run for the Angels

RUNWAY 5K: In-Person (Broomfield, CO) and Virtual (Anywhere)! A Benefit Run/Walk for Angel Flight West

Thanks to the overwhelming support we had for our race across the country and on the runway last year, we are proud to announce that the Angel Flight West Run for the Angels will be both a virtual and in-person race again this year!

Every adult registration from California and Colorado is entered in a free opportunity drawing for Two Round-Trip Tickets on Alaska Airlines valid through 2024. (Must enter valid CA or CO address to enter)

In-person race at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport: Saturday, August 26th, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. (start time). Come enjoy the experience of running on a flat runway with an amazing view! 
Virtual race start time: Saturday, August 26th at 8:30 a.m. Your time needs to be submitted by September 2nd at 11:59 p.m. MST. 
Virtual FLY-K: Fly the pattern while getting your required takeoffs and landings! Fly between  August 26th and September 2nd and tag us on social media with #RunAngelRun2022. View the flight pattern here! 

What is a virtual race? A virtual race is a race that eliminates large gatherings and follows social distancing guidelines. It can be run (or walked) in any location you choose, whether in your own neighborhood, on your treadmill, or in the hallways of any venue you can imagine. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself, any time between 8/26/2023 8:30 am and 09/02/2023 11:59 pm. You will upload your time and be placed in the virtual race standings based on your age.

Cost:
Adults: $40 
Kids 5K (under 13 years old): $10
Kids Fun Run : Free!
Seniors (over 60): $25

Registrants that sign up by July 25th will receive a shirt and a flight pin with the year of the race.  After July 25th due to limited availability of shirts you are only guaranteed to receive a flight pin by race day.
