Salt Lick Six - 10k

The first 10k road race in Corbin in years! Located just minutes off of I-75 Salt Lick Farms will play host site for the start and finish of this new, beautiful, and challenging course.  Custom finishers medal for the first 100 finishers as well as a long sleeve T-shirt! Bring your family for a day at the farm as well. Each bib grants free entry to the farm plus $1 off entry per family member.  The farm operating in the fall as a pumpkin patch is equip with a giant jumping pillow, Double Barrel slide,viewing zoo, and other activities.  

COURSE DESCRIPTION: A new beautiful but challenging course.  Race is open to traffic with support of local fire and police departments to help slow traffic.  Most of the race is along very low traffic area.  There will be a 2 hour finish time limit.

REGISTRATION AND FEES: Runners may pre-register or sign up the day of the race from 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. at Salt Lick Farms. Pre-registration (RECEIVED by July 31st) is $40 with long sleeve T and custom Finisher’s Medal. Registration increases to $45 on August 1st, Late Registration (Sept 1st up to day of the race) is $50 (day of registration does not guarantee T shirt size availability).   Packet pick-up is available only on Saturday, Sept 30, 2017 from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. at Salt Lick Farms.

SHIRTS/MEDALS: Long sleeve tshirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners along with Custom Finishers medal for the first 100 finishers.  AWARDS: Custom awards will be given for top Overall male and female, 1st Masters (40+) male and female, 1st Grandmasters (50+) male and female. Unique prize three deep in the following age divisions, male & female: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35- 39,40-44, 45-49,50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+. Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards. RESULTS: Results will be posted on the FALLS ROAD RUNNERS Facebook page.
