Samantha Brochu Memorial Run

This will be the Third Annual 5K Memorial Run in Memory of Samantha Brochu, who left our world much too soon in September of 2016, due to unexpected heart failure, at the young age of 27.

Samantha was a vibrant, active woman that enjoyed running for great causes. 

All proceeds from this event go into The Samantha Brochu Memorial Scholarship Fund, and every June, a graduate from Hazen Union High School, pursuing a degree in the education field, will receive a scholarship from this Memorial Fund!

There is one new addition this year... A CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT! Join in after you run or come down and play if you do not wish to participate in the 5K. $20 a team, and a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize! 

One addition once again to this year's fun and games... is everyone's favorite thing... BOOZE! Yep! A cash bar! Tip your bartenders well, because the tips will go directly into the Scholarship fund, on behalf of the sweet and generous people at Moog's Place in Morrisville!

For those that can't enjoy beer or wine.. there will be... MUSIC! GAMES! FACE PAINTING! A SILENT AUCTION! 50/50 Raffle! And much more!

THIS IS AN ALLLL AGES EVENT! Bring the kids to enjoy a fun day out and support a good cause!

The run this year will be held on the rail trail in Morrisville, and our celebrations and games will be held at Oxbow Park (Downtown Morrisville, Vt., at the end of Portland St., past the movie theatre, just past Morrisville Lumber).

Registration: $35.00 per person

When registering- after choosing a t-shirt size, it prompts you to a donation page, please don't feel as though you have to additionally donate! However, there is a separate donation page linked to the registration site so that those that can't make it, or choose not to walk/run can still help out! Let's make this an event to remember! Anyone that receives this scholarship in years to come will be grateful for this event! 

ALL CHECKS CAN BE MADE OUT TO "SAMANTHA BROCHU MEMORIAL FUND"

There is a cutoff date of August 12th to order shirt sizes, so pre registration is encouraged to guarantee your shirt size! There will be extra's there the day of the race, but your size is not guaranteed.
