San Diego Holiday Half Marathon

This is a point-to-point race. Race begins in Albertson's parking lot in Rancho Penasquitos and heads South on Carmel Mountain Rd. The only real major hill is in the beginning at about mile 1.5 ...piece of cake! Then all runners travel 9 miles down the 56 Bike Path enjoying spectacular views and a gentle rolling downhill course. This is not a straight drop down, you will have a few little inclines. The last 4 miles are virtually flat to the finish at Torrey Pines State Beach.
