The Annual Sandalwood Run for Hunger
5K & 10K Races – Dogs Welcome!

The Third Annual Sandalwood Run for Hunger is coming to Hilton Head Island on Saturday, March 24, 2018.  The Sandalwood Community Food Pantry* is partnering with Palmetto Running Company on our Third Annual event that will benefit our neighbors in need living right here in our Hilton Head community. March 24, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at Fish Haul Park in the Mitchelville area. This unique course, includes road, beach and trails.

Tech shirts to first 250 Pre-registered runners.

Overall winners awards and Medals to top 3 age divisions

The course is a combination of paved road, beach and wooded trails. NO strollers are allowed.
Leached dogs are welcome. This year we have a Dog division. Medal to First place runner with dog.

THANK YOU to everyone for your awesome support and participation in our 2nd Run for Hunger, which was a tremendous success in many ways...most importantly in the positive impact it will have on our neighbors in need in our community.

We had an outstanding turnout of both locals and visitors from several states (including MI, OH, TN, VA, GA, NC) and Canada were represented.
Our participants ranged in age from 8 to 75, with 62% Female, 38% Male....and several dogs of course! Please check out the excellent pictures of our event in the attached link. 2017 PICTURES

We are blessed that our net proceeds of $11K+ will exceed last year's and bring us closer to our vision of having our own building.
