This is a charitable event benefiting the St. Augustine Youth Services (no refunds).

Children in Strollers do not have to register.

COURSE
The race follows a flat 3.1 Mile course through St. Augustine Beach neighborhoods and starts and finishes at St. Augustine Beach Pier Park.  All turns and miles will be marked and water will be available at mile 2.

5K USATF Certified Course # FL10031EBM

The purpose of the USATF course certification program is to produce road race courses of accurately measured distances. For any road running performance to be accepted as a record or be nationally ranked, it must be run on a USATF-certified course. In addition, the certification program is very important to the average road racer, as well as those of exceptional speed. Most runners like to compare performances run on different courses, and such comparisons are difficult if course distances are not reliable. No one can truly establish a personal best if the course distance is not accurate.

Choice of Santa Suit or T-Shirt. Santa Suit to first 100 registrants to reserve one.

Reunion Bank - 2198 A1A South, St. Augustine, from 11am - 7pm on December 11th. You may also pick up your packet or register on race morning.

RACE TIMING AND SCORING
The race will be professionally timed and scored by RaceSmith, Inc.  The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number.  Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered.  Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the race at www.RaceSmith.com

BENEFICIARY

Since 1989, St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) has provided residential therapeutic services to boys who have been the victims of child abuse and/or extreme neglect.  It is the mission of SAYS to provide a safe, structures, therapeutic environment in which which each child may be assisted in acquiring more effective coping and communication skills while learning appropriate and functional behavior.  Our staff is specially trained to deal with problems unique to children from abusive environments. Located in St. Johns County, the program has the capacity to serve 30 boys ages 6-18 in our three residential homes.  The services include individual, group , and family therapy, life skills training, and social skills training.  SAYS provides the services to eligible youth from around the State of Florida including the surrounding counties of Duval, Clay, Baker, Nassau, Volusia, Putnam, and Flagler. SAYS has recently located just off US 1 South at Dupont Center.
