Santee Aloha 5K Fun Run & Walk

Break out the Hawaiian shirts and the grass skirts and join us for the 4th Annual Santee Aloha 5K Fun Run & Walk in Town Center Community Park in Santee on Saturday, April 21, 2018. All ages and fitness levels welcome, bring the whole family!

There will be Hawaiian dancers, leis at the finish line, and awards for runners overall, male and female age categories, and for the best child and adult costumes. Participants will travel through scenic parts of the City of Santee, over several different terrains including Walker Preserve Trail, and return to the finish line at the Park.

Vendors booths will be setup with refreshments, merchandise, youth and sports activity signups, hands-on crafts, booth activities for the kids, and lots more!

All participants registered through March 31st will receive a commemorative Santee Aloha 5K Fun Run & Walk T-Shirt. 

Proceeds raised by the Santee School District Foundation from this event will directly benefit the students of Santee School District, supporting programs in the Arts, Technology, and Science. 

Registration cost will increase April 17 and again on race day. Invite your friends and family and Register now and join us for this really fun family friendly event!

7:35AM - Warmup led by CKO Kickboxing Santee
8:00AM - Wave 1 - Runners that run mile under 7 minutes start
8:02AM - Wave 2 - Runners that run mile under 9 minutes start
8:04AM - Wave 3 - Runners that run mile under 11 minutes start
8:06AM - Wave 4 - Joggers start
8:08AM - Wave 5 - Walkers and People with Strollers start
9:00AM Awards Announced!
There is a 1.5 hour time limit for the race

What to Wear

Hawaiian outfits highly encouraged! Dress comfortably to be active and for weather.

 

Parking

There is free parking available near the start/finish line at Town Center Community Park, 550 Park Center Drive in Santee. Please follow parking attendant directions and obey all parking signs. We encourage you to carpool, bike, or walk over too!

Awards

We will be handing out Award medals immediately following the race end (around 9am) to our top 3 male and female Race finishers in all age categories, as well as 2 Best Costume awards:
