Sarah Strong 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run

The 6th Annual Sarah Strong Run 5K Run/Walk, and 1 Mile Kids' Fun Run will be held in downtown Elkhart on March 9, 2018.  All proceeds from the Sarah Strong Run benefit Passionately Purple: The Sarah Crane Foundation, which assists families in the local community whose loved ones are battling cancer. 

Packet pickup will be held on Friday, March 8, 2018 from 5PM-8PM at a location TBD as well as at the race location on Saturday, March 9th from 7:00AM-8:30AM. The race will start from Bicentennial Park (100 N. Elkhart Ave)  in Dowtown Elkhart.

ABOUT PASSIONATELY PURPLE: Sarah Crane was a sophomore at Elkhart Memorial High School when she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on July 3, 2013.  She was one of the youngest, at age 15, to be diagnosed with such an advanced form of colon cancer.  On December 7, 2013, Sarah lost her battle.  Sarah was a fighter and as she continued to battle the disease, she encouraged us all to be #SarahStrong no matter what we face in our daily lives.
