SARR Freedom Day 4-Miler and Kid's Run

Kickoff your Independence Day celebration with a run through San Antonio's historic Mission County Park.  Hosted by the San Antonio RoadRunners, this race features a chip-timed 4-Miler, a 2-Mile Family Fun Run, and a Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run because nothing is more patriotic than running 4 miles on July 4th in one of America’s most patriotic cities. Dress for the holiday -  red / white / blue!

SARR members get a 25% discount with online registration thru 6/15 (automatically applied at checkout)
Active-Duty Military get a $5 discount (will be applied at checkout; can't be combined with SARR membership discount; please show ID at packet pickup).

Race Day Schedule - July 4th
6:30 am - Late Registration & Packet Pick up (shirt not guaranteed)
7:15 am - 1/2 Mile Kids Run (untimed)
7:30 am - RACE STARTS (4-Miler)
7:45 am - 2-Mile Fun Run / Walk (not chip timed)
8:30 am - Post race activities begin, including: 

4 Miler awards for 5 year age groups Judging and award for THE best Patriotic Costume Random drawing for door prizes-must be present to win Hot Dogs, soft drinks, beer and other refreshments. DJ San Antonio will be playing the jams pre and post race

6:30 am - Thursday, July 4th-Race Day-Mission County Park-late registration & packet pickup

Race Day Parking Information:
Volunteers will be onsite to direct participants to the designated parking fields next to the park entrance. Parking is limited so we do ask that you carpool as much as possible and that you show up 30 min early to make sure that you can get to the race start on time.

REGISTER EARLY: Shirts guaranteed for first 400. Shirt available in tanks or short sleeve, men's and women's cut.

Strollers are allowed but please line up towards the back of the starting line for your safety
No dogs allowed at the race venue or on the course, except for service dogs
