SASH Spring Thing 5K

Your participation in the SASH Spring Thing 5K Run will benefit the Volunteer Services Council of the San Antonio State Hospital. Your support will go a long way toward raising funds to improve the quality of life and enhance the well-being of patients receiving treatment at the San Antonio State Hospital, by providing goods and services not funded through traditional state funding. This is the ONLY time in the year that the hospital grounds are open for runners to enjoy the campus. The course includes views of the Tower of the Americas, some inclines for those who love a challenge, and a beautiful, green scenery of the historic hospital grounds.  
 

Event Location:
San Antonio State Hospital. Enter thru Presa Gate.
5900 S. Presa, San Antonio, TX 78223.

Event Distance:
5K run, walk, roll (wheelchairs, strollers, hand cycles allowed; no bicycles)

Race Fees:
Jan 1-31: $25.
Feb 1-28: $30.
March 1-30: $35, including same day registration.   

Age Group Breakdown for Awards:
Awards for top three overall male and top three overall female. No age breakdown.
