Sequim Gym Turkey Trot 5K and 10K

On Thanksgiving morning this year, before the craziness of the holiday sets in, why not run over the river, through the woods, to the beautiful waters of the Strait with a couple hundred of your friends? In the process, you’ll be helping raise funds for our boxing-based program that improves the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease.

Sequim Gym is pleased to once again host our annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k and 10k Run! This out-and-back course runs along the beautiful and scenic Olympic Discovery Trail, starting at the Morse Creek Trailhead off Strait View Drive, in Port Angeles, Washington. This year, the proceeds from this run will go into a separate fund to help low-income folks pay for our Rock Steady Boxing program. Rock Steady is a boxing-based program proven to improve the lives of people fighting Parkinson’s disease. Be a hero: Join us and give other people a reason to be thankful this year!

NEW THIS YEAR: Form a six-person costumed team! The best costumed team will win a goodie basket valued at $80! All team members must finish the race, either 5k or 10k. Teams can be formed by combining families or single runners. Choose a name for your team and sign up at the bib pick-up.

Single runners early registration: $20 5K (plus small processing fee)

Single runners early registration: $25 10K (plus small processing fee)

Families (up to four people) early registration: $40 5K and 10K (plus small processing fee)

Early registration ends at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016

Single runners late registration: $25 5K (plus small processing fee)

Single runners late registration: $30 10K (plus small processing fee)

Families (up to four people) late registration: $45 5K-10K (plus small processing fee)

Late registration ends at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016

Day-of registration:

Single runners day-of registration: $35

Families (up to four people) day-of registration: $55

Bib pick-up and day-of registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Thanksgiving morning near the parking lot.

 PARKING INFORMATION: Please carpool since parking is limited in the trail parking lot and on the street. You may park near the cabin off Strait View ONLY if you display a state park pass. You will be ticketed if you don’t display your pass!
